on to Linux

Well, I have given up on Windows 8 after giving up on Mac OS X. Now I am on to Linux, and I am drinking from the fire hose to sort myself out. All is good so far, learning lots. I used Linux Mint for a couple of weeks and now I have switched to Elementary OS Luna. It's good for a beginner like me. Devonthink Pro Office and Adobe Lightroom are what I miss the most. But learning Linux is an entirely different and refreshing process. I enjoy finding free open source software that replaces the expensive Windows and Mac alternatives. I really like donating money to the developers of the open source programs!

I am now deep in work to rebuild workflows for academic and photography work. More on this later.
